These students learned how to use pen & ink (quill pens) to create different lines and textures. They practiced using these challenging drawing tools by creating animal portraits drawn from photographs, and finished them with watercolor. |

| These students learned the difference between drawing "symbols" and drawing realistically. They practiced drawing their hands - capturing the details and the proportions - and did an impressive job. They also observed various still life objects and drew them with amazing skill. Great job! |

Pen & Ink Animal Drawings - These students learned how to use pen & ink. They learned how the pens work, how to use them safely, and how to create all kinds of different lines by varying the amount of pressure applied to the pen. Students experimented and were very careful and meticulous with this tool. Watercolor and wet ink were added to finish the drawings.
